DUI/DWAI can happen to anyone, even judges as this article explains.  In Colorado the criminal offense of “hit/skip” is called hit-and-run: a misdemeanor, unless the driver causes serious bodily injury or death in the accident, in which case it is either a Class 4 or Class 3 felony carrying prison time between 2 and 12 years as possible penalties.  This is a very serious offense.

If you have been charged with a hit-and-run, contact Boal Law Firm, P.C. immediately at 719-602-2262.
